This release brings new ways for shoppers to discover and buy from FlyCommerce stores through AI, gives marketplace operators a clearer way to manage money, and adds more resilience across billing, domains, storefronts, checkout, and platform operations.
At the center of this release is Agentic Commerce, allowing supported AI assistants to discover products and help shoppers move through the buying journey, while the shopper still approves every payment.
Marketplace operators also get Ledgerbook & Money Ledger, bringing vendor earnings, commissions, refunds, cash-on-delivery debt, and payouts into one clearer financial workflow. Automatic Grace Period and Custom Domain Lapse & Restore add more protection when billing or domain issues occur.
Beyond the new features, we’ve shipped a significantly lighter storefront, smarter FlyBuddy building capabilities, more reliable AI-assisted store setup, stronger checkout protection, expanded localization, and fixes across payments, privacy, permissions, coupons, tax, messaging, and platform reliability.
Here’s what’s new in FlyCommerce.
What’s New
- Agentic Commerce. Let supported AI assistants discover products and help shoppers buy from your store, while the shopper still approves every payment. FlyCommerce supports Google Gemini and AI Mode through UCP, a store MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT, the ChatGPT Shopping feed, and agent cart links. A rebuilt Agentic Commerce dashboard also adds per-channel settings, product readiness, feed and activity logs, a kill switch, access levels, and vendor exclusions.
- Ledgerbook & Money Ledger. Vendor earnings, commissions, refunds, cash-on-delivery debt, and payouts are now calculated in one place. New Commission, Vendor Balances, and Payouts screens, along with an order-page panel, replace the previous admin payout workflow. A payout is marked Paid only when the money has actually moved.
- Automatic Grace Period. A failed subscription payment no longer causes an immediate shutdown. The store remains active for three days while the owner is notified by email. If the payment issue is not resolved within the grace period, the store is suspended and its Stripe billing is paused.
- Custom Domain Lapse & Restore. If a custom domain expires or stops pointing correctly, FlyCommerce can fall back to the store’s FlyCommerce subdomain and switch back once DNS is fixed. This capability is being introduced through a staged rollout, with the first week running in dry-run mode.
- Theme Custom Pages & Image Compare Block. Themes can now include custom pages that are created when the theme is activated. Contact forms can email the store, system pages get stable theme hooks, and a new Image Compare block lets merchants create before-and-after comparisons inside the builder.
Enhancements
- Faster Storefront. First-load JavaScript has been reduced from about 1.8 MB to around 550 KB, while layout improvements help prevent pages from jumping as they load.
- Smarter FlyBuddy. FlyBuddy can now build tabs, dropdowns, and drawers with real content, giving merchants more options for creating interactive storefront sections.
- More Reliable AI Store Setup Preview. The storefront shown during AI-assisted setup now better matches what is actually provisioned, and setup failures are surfaced more clearly.
- More Reliable Event Delivery. Backend events are now more resilient to restarts, with payment events published persistently for more dependable processing.
- Stronger Request Protection. Additional rate limits now protect checkout, cart updates, coupons, shipping quotes, and password-reset requests.
- Friendlier Checkout Address Fixes. Saved-address problems are now shown directly on the address card so shoppers can correct them without leaving the checkout flow. Phone validation has also been aligned with checkout requirements.
- Expanded Turkish Localization. Turkish translations have been reviewed across 594 dashboard strings and 67 storefront strings for a more consistent localized experience.
Bug Fixes
- Products Without Images. Products with no images no longer cause the entire storefront page to fail.
- Safer Abandoned Vendor Cleanup. Vendors with outstanding balances are no longer removed by the abandoned-vendor cleanup process.
- Protected Payment Credentials. Payment gateway secrets are now masked consistently, and stored credentials receive stronger protection at rest.
- Customer Data Protection. Public reviews, product questions, blog posts, and store activity logs no longer expose personal information that should remain private.
- Stronger Store-Level Access Controls. Vendor order actions, commission visibility, carts, and checkout ownership now follow stricter store-level access rules.
- Safer Admin Access. Admin registration, impersonation sessions, and theme-builder authentication now use stronger access controls.
- Safer Hub Sign-Up. Email verification is enforced more consistently, existing accounts are no longer revealed during sign-up, and resend requests are rate-limited.
- Correct Google Sign-Up Permissions. Self-service Google sign-up no longer grants hub administrator access incorrectly.
- Unpublished Content Stays Private. Draft policy pages and unpublished page content can no longer be accessed publicly.
- Stronger Feed Integration Permissions. Google Merchant Center and Facebook feed credentials now require the appropriate Integration permission.
- Better Payment Customer Isolation. Guest payment records, tokens, and invoice downloads are now more tightly scoped to the correct customer and request.
- Safer External Uploads & Theme Activation. Upload-from-URL requests now reject private hosts, while theme activation requires the appropriate admin access.
- Cleaner Analytics & Logs. Sensitive tokens are kept out of analytics and application logs, and production debug mode is disabled.
- Safe Coupon Deletion. Deleting a coupon no longer deletes the products or categories associated with it.
- Coupon Validation at Order Time. Coupons are checked again when an order is placed. Expired coupons are rejected, and two orders can no longer consume the final available use.
- Safer Tax Fallback. If an external tax provider fails, checkout now falls back to the store’s own tax configuration instead of applying zero tax.
- Order SMS Delivery. Order SMS notifications now send correctly.
- Correct Category Commission. Category-based commission is calculated correctly instead of being recorded as zero.
- Guest Thank-You Page. The order number shown to guest shoppers no longer sends them to a sign-in page.
- Paid Orders Stay Paid. The payment page no longer offers another payment option for an order that has already been paid.
- Correct Refund Totals. Refund cards now display the correct totals.
- Store Deletion Restored. Stores can once again be deleted correctly from the hub.
- Cleaner Trial Emails. Legacy billing jobs no longer trigger duplicate trial emails, and outdated Dokan branding has been removed from the email copy.
- Correct API Authentication Errors. Unauthenticated API requests now return the appropriate 401 response instead of a server error.
- More Accurate Billing Metrics. Suspended tenants are no longer counted as paying customers in MRR, ARR, and ARPU calculations, and commission invoices now show the correct tenant plan name.
