Dokan launches as a multi-vendor marketplace plugin for WordPress.
- 2018
50,000+ active installations reached. It becomes the world’s most-used marketplace solution of its kind, powering businesses across 180+ countries.

Cloud development begins. A dedicated team started working to build a fully hosted version of Dokan.
- 2024
February: Dokan Cloud Beta releases. 700+ marketplaces built before public launch. March: Marketplace goes fully public. November: Shop launches in beta.

Shop fully launches. Standalone store product completes beta and goes live.

April: Dokan Cloud rebrands to FlyCommerce. Dokan built the foundation; FlyCommerce gives the dream its wings, giving the platform its own distinct identity built for the next generation of eCommerce.

Why we exist
Commerce should be as accessible as the ambition behind it.
Launching a store or a marketplace has always demanded too much from the people with the least technical support to spare: WordPress expertise, server budgets, developer hours, plugin compatibility. The barrier has never been the idea. It’s been the infrastructure between the idea and the first sale.
weDevs spent over a decade lowering that barrier, first with a plugin that opened marketplace commerce to 40,000+ operators, now with a platform that removes the barrier entirely.
